-1- <br /> <br /> <br />TITLE 13 – ORDINANCE 041708 <br /> <br />STREET NAMING AND ADDRESSING <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />TETON COUNTY, IDAHO <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS: It is the desire of Teton County to protect the health, safety, and <br />welfare of all county residents, and: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Teton County has worked closely through the County Assessor with <br />the Teton County Fire Protection District, the Teton County Ambulance, and the <br />Teton County Sherriff’s Office to create a fair and uniform standard for address <br />assignment; to establish address grids; to create standards for the posting of <br />road signage and structure identification; to formalize a process for the correction <br />of erroneously assigned structures and roads; and to establish compliance <br />procedures and processes to bring non conforming situations into compliance, <br />and: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Teton County has assigned an addressing database to be kept <br />within the courthouse as the official countywide addressing database and <br />establish this ordinance to heretofore be the countywide protocol governing <br />addressing. <br /> <br />THEREFORE: Be it ordained by the Board of County Commissioners of Teton <br />County, Idaho that this ordinance is declared to be the governing regulation for <br />addressing in the county. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
